There are plenty of things to do in the towns in Liguria with many shops and restaurants to go to as well as having over 160 Museums scattered throughout the region. There are also a handful of Roman ruins and medieval castles scattered through the region as well, giving the full flavor of the Roman influence to the region.

The region is known for its beaches and beach resorts, most of the resort areas start about 10 miles south Genoa and run pretty much the entire coast heading north and west. To the south the beaches are scattered and for the most part much smaller and have only a few resorts.

If you see a museum listed in the town you will be staying in and want more information about it you will need to do a search, but because so many town have a museum called just the civic museum or archeological museum you would need to put in the name of the town followed by the name of the museum in order to get information about that specific museum.

It would be great if I could provide information and a link for every city and every museum in each region but not many if any websites could really do that.
