Looking for outdoor activities? There are many areas in the region with hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and many other country related interests to do.

If you want to limit your outdoor interests to sightseeing there are several Roman and pre Roman ruins in the region to see one of which is the Samnite ruin near the town of Pietrabbondante. Another great archeological site in the region is the ancient ruin of Sepino, which is the name of the town it was built near making for an interesting time of sightseeing.

Of course being in one of the oldest areas of Italy most of the towns you would visit would be architecturally interesting with many of the buildings hotel and restaurants being many hundreds of yours old. Unlike other regions of Italy the Molise region has only few cities  museums to visit.

It would be great if I could provide information and a link for every city and every museum in each region but not many if any websites could really do that.
