Hiking, mountain biking and skiing being a big part of the region it is easy to see why there are over 320 hotels and privet rentable chalets scattered through the ski resort areas makes the region one of Italy's most popular winter playgrounds. Many of the ski resorts double as hiking and mountain biking areas adding to the many parks available for summer fun.

For the motor sports lover the town of Piatramurata​ will host a round of the FIM world motocross championships at the track hear them on the weekend of April 16th.

 

Don't think because of the abundance of outdoor activities the region has to offer there is nothing going on in the cities for people do. As there is also plenty of shopping and sightseeing of architecture in the different towns. You can also visit any of the 64 museums in the region. When you are finished with your day of fun there are also plenty of great restaurants to choose from for a evening of fine dining.
