is what My Italian Travels is all about. I hope you will find the answers to all your questions about planning an Italian vacation within the pages of our Site. This site is a little different from other Italian travel sites because I put together this site based on what I would want to see if I were trying to plan an Italian vacation and that is information and instructions.

Giving you the knowledge needed to research and make the best choice for each aspect of your Italian vacation as well as anywhere in Europe. When clicking a page on our main menu what you will get will be a page full of information not a page with nothing more than a reservation box to fill in which is what you get with many travel sites. I have instructions and tips for many things, which is important to read especially for those who have never planned a trip overseas. If you are an experienced traveler you can still find new information to use then you can go to any section you want and book that part of your trip instantly.

The plan trip section has 6 great articles for your overall Italian travel planning strategies and will give you some great ideas for packing, what to do at the airport, how to plan your money, information about travel insurance and how to use google maps for planning your sightseeing day. We even give you tips on how to buy things on your trip and get it home safely.

Some sections may seem a little long but anytime an article is filled with valuable information and instructions it can be. The planning section gives you a great start for planning your trip but should be used it in conjunction with other sections like the hotel and flights section which not only gives you great information but like every section also gives you instructions on how to use the hotel and flight websites for finding and booking your reservations.

We want you to get excited about planning your vacation and have fun picking out and making reservations for all the great things you are going to see when you get there. We know planning an overseas trip can make some feel a little apprehensive and that is why after reading all our information we believe you will feel as confident about going to Italy or anywhere else in Europe as you would be traveling anywhere in your own country.

Whether you're searching for a cruise for your Italian vacation, looking for train transportation information or finding a city tour to go on it is all under your control. You don’t have to read anything in any kind of order and can read at any pace you want.

We also won’t send you to a page and leave you there. We will tell you how to use each page to find what you want and how to make reservations for it. We made the type bigger and spaced the lines farther apart to make everything easier to read. We wanted to give a friendly feel to the site so we wrote the articles and instructions as if we were talking to friends and neighbors who are planning vacation in Italy.

We also brought together what we consider many of the best reservation services in their field of travel whether it is for your flight, hotel, cruise or anything else you need and we use these services ourselves whenever we travel abroad. We provided each service with advertising space next to an article relevant to what their services are with a direct link to their site so you don't even have to leave our site to make your reservations. We hope you will make your reservations through our advertisers because a small portion of the sale goes to running this site.
